Did you know lynx kittens look exactly like cat kittens when theyre babies? Mudhound didnt.
Found in a log in the wake of a lynx attack (shouldve been the first clue) Mousepaw was taken into thunderclan before his eyes were even opened and raised among his cat cousins as a normal thunderclan kitten. It was rather a shock to even him when he learned about his species, but explained a lot about his behaviors.
Still it changed little for Mousepaw. Thunderclan is his home and hes going to become the best warrior ever, even if he gets weird looks.
Mousepaw doesnt understand a lot of things other cats do that just seems to make sense for them and struggles to comprehend more complex societal rules and structure. To him life is simple and instincts and strength should rule, but that just doesnt work here leaving him a little lost. Still where he struggles socially he is a natural talent elsewhere, hunting fighting climbing and physical skills naturally exceeding other cats with ease.

His cousins and Mud are the exception, they make sense.
- Feels like he doesnt fit in near constantly.
- Can get rather frustrated and if overwhelmed has outbursts where he struggles to control his emotions.

Due to not being a cat talking like one is hard for Mousepaw, and he speaks primarily in broken flat sentences that sound warped and muddled with an odd sort of accent.

His attempts at purring, meowing, growling and more sound vicious and warped too. His hissing is normal however.

Mousepaw eats ravenously near ferally every time and refuses to share, despite best effort to teach him otherwise.

Despite his oddities and size, Mousepaw tries hard to be gentle with others and not harm them, though is often rougher then he means to.

A large grey long furred Canadian lynx with black tickled tabby markings, a black bobbed tail, tufted black ears, and brown eyes.
His fur is thick, frame bulky and taller then the cats around him, and his back legs are longer then his front with massive paws.
Mousepaw has an odd strong musky scent that's familiar to those who've met a lynx, but it has a tinge of warm wood and rosemary.
Mousepaw's steps are near silent despite the fact that he plods along due to his massive paws. But when he runs, he bounds in long leaps.
