Goldenpanther once spent much of his life believing he was broken. Born with wobbly cat syndrome and abandoned by the mother who deemed him defective, he grew up in shadowclan convinced love was something he had to earn through sacrifice. Every kindness felt a borrowed loan. Every relationship felt fragile. When betrayal came, undeserved, it only reinforced what he already feared: that he was fundamentally less than everyone around him, broken.

By the time he left ShadowClan, Goldenpanther had lost nearly everything he cared about and very nearly lost himself alongside it. But shattering completely forced him to make something new, and so he did.

 

He has changed: he was enough. He could survive. He could adapt. He could fail, get back up, and keep moving forward. His disability did not make him unworthy of love, respect, or happiness, and neither did his mistakes.

Now renamed Bleedingsun he carries himself with a quiet confidence that once seemed impossible. He no longer bends himself into shapes that make others comfortable, nor does he seek validation wherever he can find it. He comes first, as in his darkest moments he will always have himself.

Bleedingsun is an unusually nurturing cat, far more interested in listening than judging, enjoying helping others find their footing, and often acting as a patient ear or steady shoulder when someone needs support. Though capable of remarkable ferocity when those he loves are threatened, violence is not where his heart lies. 

​

His disability remains as visible as ever and every task often takes more effort than it would for another cat. Bleedingsun is no hero, will never be a legendary warrior, and no cat destined for greatness.

He is simply himself, and for the first time in his life, that is enough.
